I first started a blog, Kaisoumizu, on September 30, 2008. It started out being just a personal blog where I shared the amusing and annoying things that happened in my life, and occasionally wrote about my travels and what I’d read. Over the years I’ve become more obsessed with anime than ever before, and I’m also a big fan of Vocaloid music, so I started to write more about those two things in the later half of 2011. Nowadays, every couple of days I make a post sharing some of my recent favorite Vocaloid songs, and also some covers by the singers on Nico Nico Douga.
I’d contemplated moving to WordPress before, but I was hesitant to move from Blogger to WordPress because I’d invested so much time and effort into my blog (and I hadn’t been aware that you could simply import your posts!). But in October 2011 I finally made the move.
Since I was making a new start, I wanted to change the name of my blog, and ended up picking “Kagaribito”, which is the title of a Vocaloid song, and I think I read somewhere that it means “repairers of the broken world”. (Please correct me or confirm that, though, if you know for sure D: )
Feel free to ask me if you want to know anything. I’ll probably answer most questions as long as they aren’t too personal. :p
